Document Control Clerk
A local financial service company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Document Control Clerk to join their Service Department. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in banking, insurance, financial services, or customer service who enjoys working with people while handling important paperwork and account information. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating over the phone, working with computer systems, and assisting customers with a variety of account-related requests
Responsibilities

Handle incoming and outgoing calls, assisting members with account-related questions.

Review and process member forms, including personal information, ownership, and beneficiary changes.

Review loan, withdrawal, and surrender requests for completeness.

Update member accounts and maintain accurate records in company systems.

Prepare confirmation letters and document member interactions.

Follow up on missing information and resolve routine account inquiries.

Learn to process member financial transactions as training progresses.
Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in banking, insurance, financial services, or customer service preferred.

Strong communication skills and professional phone manner.

Comfortable using computers, entering information, and navigating different software systems.

Ability to work with confidential customer and financial information.

Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new processes.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
