Production Plant Janitor
A manufacturing company in Westfield, NY is looking for experienced a Janitor to help keep the facility clean and organized. This position involves removing trash and scrap throughout the facility, cleaning common areas, and handling heavy materials throughout the shift.
Responsibilities

Gather scrap from the production floor, weigh it, and move it to the dumpster several times throughout the shift

Repeatedly lift and carry heavy bags and containers of scrap and trash

Remove trash from the production floor, break room, bathrooms, and offices
-
Clean and maintain offices, break room, and bathrooms
-
Help keep the facility clean and free of debris

Use a forklift to move materials when needed, if experienced
Qualifications and Skills

Must be able to repeatedly lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift

Must be comfortable working on your feet and doing physical work

Previous janitorial, cleaning, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is helpful

Forklift experience is a bonus but not required

Reliable transportation required

Must be able to complete a background check
