Custodian

As a Cleaning Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring that industrial spaces are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Your primary duties will include performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. You will work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning agents.

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.

• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and break rooms.

• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality of service.

• Adhere to safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.

• Follow instructions from supervisors or managers and complete tasks within specified timeframes.

• Provide excellent customer service and respond to any cleaning-related inquiries or requests from clients.

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and coworkers.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time

• Pay rate is $15.00 per hour

• 1st Shift

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

• Benefits available after probationary period
