CNC Set Up Operator
A local, established Fairview company is currently seeking a CNC Set Up Operator to join their hardworking production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate parts according to assigned specifications. The ideal candidate will be experienced and familiar with mills and lathes and practice strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities

Implement daily practices as directed by supervisors.

Interface with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office and department specific applications.

Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors.

Performa initial set up and testing of machinery to ensure proper operation.

Install machined parts into mechanisms, machines, and equipment.

Document gage room processes for first piece approval.

Troubleshoot problems as they arise.

Train other employees on CNC operation.

Serve as an active and engaged member of the team.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Extensive previous CNC operation experience.

Completion of on-the-job training.

Strong math skills

Strong interpersonal communication.

Ability to right legible and simple correspondence.

Follow directions precisely.

Strong work ethic.
