CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operator
A local fabrication company is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their first-shift production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Candidates with plasma burning machine experience or familiarity with shop equipment like saws, drill presses, and shears will be a great fit for this position.
Responsibilities

Operate plasma burning machines and other standard shop equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints to complete jobs accurately.

Perform setups, monitor equipment, and make adjustments as needed.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work area to safety standards.

Support other shop functions when required.
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience.

Experience with plasma burning machines preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
