CNC Machinist
A manufacturer in the Fairview, PA area is currently hiring entry level to skilled CNC machinists on all shifts. Pay starts at $16 and goes up based on proven experience. CNC experience preferred; Manufacturing experience required. Apply for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities

Use manual and CNC machining equipment to make parts according to specifications.

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints at a minimum.

Load machines with the correct materials per job instructions.

Efficiently load and unload parts in the machine fixtures.

Actively observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions and report them to appropriate personnel to resolve the issue.

Follow and understand all work instructions and inspection requirements.

Conduct in-process inspections and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation using shop floor inspection tools (mics, calipers, depth mics, gage pins, etc.)

Complete quality assurance logs and other at machine documentation.

Remove burrs, and sharp edges from workpiece per work instructions.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

At least 1 year of prior experience in CNC machining and a background in manufacturing.

Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write in English.

Must complete a background check and drug screen.

Must be able to stand/move around a small area for an 8 hour shift.

Pushing and pulling is required to maneuver heavy items into place.

Must be able to lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds.
