Chemical Compounder and Blender
The Chemical Compounder and Blender is responsible for accurately compounding and blending chemical formulas, dispensing raw materials, packaging and filtering finished goods, and maintaining proper inventory levels. This role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, precision in following formulas, and effective communication with production teams.
Responsibilities

Strictly follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Compound fragrance and chemical formulas for various products, such as perfumes, candles, soaps, lotions, and personal care items.

Measure, weigh, and dispense raw materials according to batch sheets and formulas.

Pour, blend, and process raw materials to produce finished products.

Monitor and record batch conditions, including temperatures for heating and cooling processes.

Ensure accurate chemical usage and proper storage of raw materials.

Complete required batch documentation and paperwork daily.

Notify production teams when batches are completed and ready for filling.

Assist other compounders as needed.

Operate equipment safely, including forklifts (training provided if necessary).

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

All candidates are required to successfully complete a math skills assessment, administered onsite at our testing facility, prior to placement.

Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

English fluency (verbal and written).

Ability to multitask effectively in a production environment.

Prior chemical processing or manufacturing experience preferred (training available).

Ability to wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Forklift operation ability (training provided if necessary).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Ability to handle drums up to 400 lbs. and bags up to 50 lbs. (with assistance/equipment).

Ability to stand, bend, push, and pull for extended periods.

Pay Rate is $18.00-$26.00 per hour

Shift 2nd 3:30pm-11pm (paid lunch)
