Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician
A local company in Erie, PA is looking for a dependable Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician to handle basic building upkeep, general repairs, and grounds maintenance. This is a hands-on position suited for someone with general maintenance experience who is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance and basic repairs

Complete painting, patching, and touch-up work

Replace or repair basic fixtures and hardware

Perform minor carpentry and general handyman tasks

Assist with maintaining doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and other building components

Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and general outdoor upkeep

Help keep exterior areas, walkways, and surrounding grounds maintained
-
Move materials, equipment, and supplies as needed

Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs when necessary

Perform other general building and grounds upkeep duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills

Previous general maintenance, handyman, building maintenance, or groundskeeping experience preferred

Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

Basic knowledge of painting, carpentry, and general building repairs

Able to work both indoors and outdoors

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

Good problem-solving and mechanical skills

Must be able to perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday
