Barn Maintenance
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our farm team as an Animal Caretaker. In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure the daily health and well-being of our chickens, maintain barn cleanliness, and support general farm operations. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive agricultural environment.
Responsibilities

Monitor bird health and barn conditions regularly

Oversee egg collection equipment and help ensure smooth operation

Assist with feed and water system checks

Remove and document daily bird mortality

Support with barn cleaning and sanitation

Perform light preventative maintenance on farm equipment

Help with general farm duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills

Agricultural/barn environment with dust and heat exposure
-
On your feet most of the day with frequent walking, bending, and climbing
-
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
-
Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves
-
Tasks may include shoveling walkways and using a wheelbarrow daily
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous farm or animal care experience is a plus—but not required

Willingness to work with animals daily and in a physical, outdoor setting

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and multitask

Awareness of surroundings and safety practices

Dependability and a strong work ethic
