Accounting Clerk
A growing manufacturing company in the Franklin area is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily financial operations. This individual will assist with payroll, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records while supporting the accounting team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, take initiative, and grow into a larger role over time. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career looking to build experience and grow long-term.
Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Assist with payroll processing and review of time/pay data

Support journal entries and financial tracking

Maintain accurate financial records, logs, and documentation

Review and verify data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Assist with invoices, expenses, and general accounting tasks

Support day-to-day accounting operations and reporting

Work independently and assist where needed across accounting functions
Qualifications and Skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Experience or exposure to accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or general accounting preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Problem-solving mindset and ability to take initiative

Professional communication skills; comfortable working with internal teams and leadership
